It seems fitting that the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is bringing CowParade home to America's Dairyland in 2006. This sponsorship is a natural extension of WMMB's promotional and educational initiatives and will allow the board to share dairy messages with consumers from all over the world.
“We're extremely proud to present CowParade to the state of Wisconsin," said James Robson, CEO of WMMB. "The state's dairies help to fuel the economy at the rate of more than $39,000 per minute," he added, "and the average Wisconsin dairy cow generates $17,000 a year in economic activity, helping local communities to support schools, roads and businesses. Our dairy industry employs more than 160,000 people."
The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is a non-profit promotional organization funded by the state's more than 14,000 dairy producers.
